“ I have a confession that although I have posted on my personal social media, I have been remiss about doing a Google review about my last couple of experiences at Hafner's. After reading a reviewer "Amy"'s negative - and I feel truly unwarranted and unfair - negative blast about her service, I had to write. My first night was with a large group of 15 singles seated in the bar area, all drinking/eating and handled by one very capable, smiling, can-do, friendly server Jessica who kept checking on us all night! Second time it was 4 of us to start and 1 joined later and we happened to get the same awesome server who seated us promptly and we got the same attentive and friendly service! We were very happy about that. Hafner's does a great job in making sure their guests are satisfied with their visit. ”
“ Came here with my boyfriend from LA to visit his family. I stopped here to get some soup and was shocked how good the soup was. This was the best chicken vegetable soup I’ve ever had. My boyfriend got the chili and it was equally delicious. I also got a French 75 which I highly recommend, very strong on the gin! “ Always a great dining experience all the way around. To Amy who feels that she is entitled more than a group of honor flight recipients who risked their lives to serve our country, check yourself. You weren't rushed out of the restaurant, you were simply asked if you wouldn't mind moving to another table. Not a big deal and not a lot to ask considering they were trying to seat senior veterans. Your review was lame and selfish. We've always had a great experience at Hafner's even at busy times. Before ruining the reputation of a great restaurant and a great staff, check yourself. ”

“ My wife and I stopped in after a fun day down in Syracuse Area. The atmosphere was amazing the moment you walk in. Our server Francesca was amazing. We were a little hesitant at first because the prices but when our food arrived it was so good. My wife got the fried chicken sandwich and I got the filet mignon. Everything tasted fresh made. We will definitely drive the hour and half just to come back here. ”

“ Had an appointment in Liverpool so I googled restaurants in area and Jake Hafner's was the first tavern to pop up. So we tried it and so happy we did. Hubs got crab stuffed shrimp with a side of rice and side salad. Salad was huge. He said ut was very good and he was full after. I had the shaved steak sandwich w fries and order a side of mac n cheese. While the shaved steak was a little crunchy due to being over cooked, the au jus made up for it. Such flavor. The mac n cheese was really delicious, Hubs said it reminded him of what his mom made. Large beer and wine selection. Our waitress was wonderful, young man came around several times asking how everything was. If an empty dish sat on the edge, staff was quick to remove. Inside is very quaint, rustic feel. All around great. Looking forward to going back to try their prime rib ”
